The Delhi Gymkhana Club India Open Bridge Tournament 2009 for Shri Brij Mohan Gupta Memorial Trophy started today morning at Kashmir Lawns, Delhi Gymkhana Club. The 3-day event will have Team of Four as well as Open Pairs event.
59 Teams from all parts of India are participating in the Team of Four event. There will be 10 rounds of 10 boards each in the Swiss League after which the TOP 7 teams and the best Gymkhana team will qulaify for the quarter-final.
At the end of today, 6 rounds have been completed and the rest 4 rounds will be played tomorrow. The leaders at the end of Day-1 (after 6 rounds) are:
